Nehemiah Green has built his career at the intersection of emerging technology, strategic partnerships, and business growth, helping organizations turn new ideas and market opportunities into scalable results.
As Executive Vice President of Innovation and Artificial Intelligence at Jefferson, Nehemiah leads the company’s investment strategy in AI and emerging technology companies. He directs the team that sources and structures these investments, working with Jefferson’s leaders and startup founders to bring new capabilities into solutions that create value for Jefferson’s customers and partners.
Before joining Jefferson, Nehemiah built and led the emerging venture capital business at Amazon Web Services, driving more than $50M in annual recurring cloud revenue by helping high-growth, early-stage startups scale on AWS. He designed the go-to-market programs behind that growth, including co-sell motions that connected venture-backed AI and machine learning startups to enterprise and public sector buyers, and managed a portfolio of more than 50 top-tier VC firms representing $6.7B in assets under management.
Earlier in his career, Nehemiah built partnerships and revenue programs at high-growth technology companies, including Handshake, where he was an early employee, as well as Patreon, B Lab Global, and Code2040.
Nehemiah serves on the Board of Advisors at the Tufts Derby Entrepreneurship Center. He holds an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. from Tufts University.
