Strategic Operator. Systems Thinker. Execution Architect.
Design element

Some people are energized by bold ideas. Kaelin Worthey is energized by what it takes to make them work.

Throughout her career, Kaelin has been drawn to the critical space between strategy and execution, building better ways for people, processes, data, and technology to work together.

As Vice President of Operations & Strategic Initiatives at Jefferson, Kaelin helps translate strategy into coordinated action. Her work spans enterprise operations, technology, governance, quality, planning, risk management, and business transformation. As a member of the Executive Team, she works across the company to  build the systems and frameworks that improve visibility, strengthen accountability, and turn strategic priorities into measurable results.

Known as the chaos coordinator, Kaelin has spearheaded multiple enterprise initiatives to include achieving a perfect CMMC Level II compliance score, internal reorganizations, the company rebrand in 2026, and the company sale in 2024.  Technology is central to her approach, but never the objective on its own. Kaelin has led efforts to integrate business systems, establish data governance, develop enterprise dashboards, automate workflows, and modernize operations through automation and artificial intelligence.

Before joining Jefferson, Kaelin held roles spanning operations, program management, data governance, and process automation at Avantus Federal. Prior to transitioning to government contracting, she spent time in the U.S. House of Representatives, Department of Homeland Security, and at a DC-based think tank. She holds degrees from American University and the University of Kentucky and is a PMP, CMMI Level III Services Associate, and ACT-IAC Fellow.

Outside of work, Kaelin is an avid fiction reader and devoted dog and cat mom.

For Kaelin, transformation is not defined by the size of an idea, but by an organization’s ability to put it into motion and turn it into meaningful results.
